Worship at the United Methodist Church of Skaneateles
"Feeding the Lambs. Caring for the Flock. Feeding the Sheep."
Worship is vital to the life of our congregation. We presently
offer one Sunday morning worship service at 10:00 a.m.
Each Sunday we gather to hear God's Word, offer our songs and
words of praise, and to pray for one another. Because we believe
that God is present whenever we gather, we expect to hear what
God has to say to us; we expect to receive God's healing grace;
we expect to receive what we need in order to live our lives abundantly
no matter what our circumstances are.
Children are welcome in the worship service. We have a special
children's time in the service. We provide activities tables in
the sanctuary where our children can color and do Bible activities. At
10:30 our children through grade 8 are dismissed to attend their
Church School classes. We also have a Nursery Care provider who
provides supervised care for our infants and toddlers.
Communion is offered on the first Sunday on every month as a
part of our regular worship service and is open to all who wish
to participate. We invite you to join us for worship.
