Simpson United Methodist Church is a Reconciling Congregation of the
Reconciling Ministries Network since 1996. All are welcomed at Simpson UMC. The
Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN) is a growing movement of United Methodist
individuals, congregations, campus ministries, and other groups working for the
full participation of all people in the United Methodist Church.

Reconciling Ministries Network is a national grassroots organization that exists to enable full participation of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in the life of the United Methodist Church, both in policy and practice.
As of June, 2002, the RMN encompasses 176 Reconciling Congregations, 25 Reconciling Campus Ministries, and numerous other "reconciling" groups. There are over 17,000 Reconciling United Methodists.
In October, 2000, we changed our name from the Reconciling Congregation Program to the Reconciling Ministries Network.
We are governed by a Board of Directors, volunteers who reflect the diversity of the RM movement.
