The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

UMW Circles

• Laura Circle

  This circle meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Members volunteer as prayer partners within the group, collect items for the shoebox ministry for the homeless and support all UMW projects.

• Martha Circle

  This circle meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. They are active in supporting the United Methodist Spring Fair and Apple Festival (both support Weekday Christian Education in the local school system) as well as all UMW projects.

• Mary/Ruth Circle

          This circle meets the second Wednesday of each month from
          9:30 to 11:45 a.m. This group supports many local
          community charitable endeavors, makes hospital visits
          for church members, and also supports all UMW projects.

• Friendship Circle

        This circle meets the first Thursday of each month at
        1:00 p.m.  They are active in all UMW projects.

General Information

These are only a few of the many activities our UMW is involved in. Meetings consist of devotions, a short business meeting, and a program which focuses on a UMW activity. Fellowship is abundant and the groups occasionally go out to eat.
