A Message From Gene and Deanne Sharp

We are excited about Deanne’s appointment to
Simla United Methodist Church and to have the
opportunity to serve in Simla as well as Ellicott
United Methodist Church.

Our Mission
We come to serve and provide Biblically sound
spiritual leadership and inspiration as we follow
the teachings of Jesus Christ. Caring for our
church members and friends, lifting you up in
our daily prayers, and being responsive with
Christian support is the purpose for which we
are called to your church. We look forward to
being a vital part of Simla and Ellicott United
Methodist Churches and growing with you into

Pastor Deanne Sharp will be starting her ministry with the Simla Unitied Methodist starting July 1st.

 

In Romans 5:1-5 the Word of God says:

“Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God. And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us (NRSV).”
