The organized unit of United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

FUMC's United Methodist Women encourages fellowship, personal growth, and support of missions through general meetings, circle meetings, and study groups. Meeting times are:

 Circle One: Third Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at a local restaurant (to be named each month).

 Circle Two: Third Thursday at 9:30 AM at homes of members

 Circle Three: Third Wednesday at 6:30 PM at homes of members

 Circle Four (The Virginia Weiderman Circle): Third Thursday at 9:30 AM at homes of members

 Circle Eight (The Circle of Faith):  Third Thursday at 7:00 PM at homes of members
