Sierra Leone has always had a strong medical program.

However, because of hte civil war most of the clinics had to be closed.  The major medical centers which ahve remained open is the Kissy Eye Clinic and the Kissy Health and Maternity Clinic.

According to the  medical report, the following clinic are now open in addtion to Kissy.

Po Lokko was nearly destroyed by the rebels

Rotifunk was nearly destroyed by the rebels

Mabel Silver Center receive severe damage

UMC HIV/AIDS WORKSHOP

Under the leadership of Bishop Humper in cooperation with the ministry of health a three day workshop was held for religioius leaders on HIV/Aids. This was the first such workshop held in Sierra Leone for  religous workers on Hiv/Aids.
