Mission Statement

We are a worshiping community who love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ by caring for each other, passing on our faith to new generations and the world, and serving the poor and suffering.

Welcome.  This is what a person feels who comes to
Sherrodsville Calvary UMC for the first time.  Located about
halfway between Atwood and Leesville Lakes makes us a good place
to visit for fishermen, boaters, and campers who want to invite
God along on their fun at the lakes.  We are a small, but active
church with women's, men's, and youth groups and others.
Everyone is welcome in all programs and activities.

Discovering The Bible begins Wednesday, June 30 and
 continues for the seven following Wednesdays (from 7 to 8 p.m.).
This class will assist those with absolutely no familiarity with
the Bible to become comfortable using it and also serve as a good'
refresher course for long-time Bible readers.  Everyone is welcome.
There are no pre-requisites.  Just bring your Bible or use one of
the church's Bibles.  There will be low-cost Bibles available also.

Worship:  9:00 a.m.
Sunday School:  10:30 a.m.  All ages.
Bible Studay:  Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Choir Rehearsal:  Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
United Methodist Women:  2nd Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
United Methodist Men:  3rd Saturday at 8:00 a.m. (at one of 5 cooperating churches)
United Methodist Youth:  1st & 3rd Sundays at 4:00 p.m.
Covenant Discipleship Groups:  Tuesday at 12:45 p.m.; Thursday at 7:00 a.m.
