WE
COLLECT THESE ITEMS WEEKLY

Non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry. These are placed on the table in the lobby. There
is usually a handout available there listing those foods and supplies that
are especially needed. Our food donations that we place on the
table in the narthex (lobby) during the months of January, March, May, July,
September, and November go to New Hope Ministries here in Mechanicsburg.
During the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December
these food donations go to the Ecumenical Food Bank in Harrisburg. If you
prefer to write a check rather than bringing food to church, make it payable
to Shepherdstown U.M.C. with a notation of either: "New Hope" or
"Ecumenical Food Bank" and drop it in any offering plate. |
