The UMYF is a group of about 15 youth in grades 6-10.  The Parish Associate, Adeline Anderson, is the Youth Minister over seeing all youth activities, publications, and planning weekly meetings.

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose it is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the Global Ministries of the church.

Our unit has been regularly paying our pledge to mission, with five stars for a number of consecutive years.

The UMW has participated in the following activities:

  • cookie sales

  • Stanley parties

  • Special Fund for Hope and Holiness for Children

  • Women's advocacy ministry

  • Wicke Health Center

  • Emergency Shelter - 6 months of dinner for the homeless

  • Church Women United

  • National Meetings

  • Camp Scholarships

  • District Meetings

  • Spring Day Apart

  • Prayer Chain
