CALL FOR FLOOD BUCKETS

UMCOR SAGER BROWN  is in great need of flood buckets.  Assembled flood buckets will help greatly as they will be ready to go as needed, not requiring them to take time to purchase the items and then assemble.  We are asking the Shreveport District Churches to help out in this time of need by assembling flood buckets and taking them to any of the drop off points listed below.  The District will make arrangements to transport the buckets to the Depot.   Please have your buckets to the drop off point NO LATER THAN MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2008....THE SOONER THE BETTER.

If you cannot assemble flood buckets, you can still help by giving to general advance number 901515 and marking it for Flood Buckets.  Send to the Conference Office.   Also please mark if it is for actual flood bucket supplies or for transportation costs in getting it to the needed areas.

If you would like to help the District with transporting the flood buckets to Sager Brown, please respond to this email or call the District Office at 869-5729.  You may also send money to the District to help with  transportation expenses in getting the flood buckets to the Depot.

After the following list, you will find the info on assembling the flood buckets.

Thank you in advance for your help during this time of need!
