      Creating a Christ Centered Community....
is our vision

Membership Means Participation

The Administrative Board serves as the leadership and decision making body for our local congregation. The Council on Minitries defines the vision and program of the church. Volunteers serve as greeters, ushers, church school teachers, and lay readers. Serving on the commitees of the church helps to ensure our common purpose is  fulfilled.

The Adult Activity Commitee: holds special social events such as progressive & potluck dinners, hymn sings, game nights, picnics, and trips to places of interest.

Education Matters

Church School is held on Sunday. Young people meet in their classrooms and attend worship as a class before returning for study. Adult classes are offered each Sunday. Weekday discussion groups meet during the year. Short term studies ( e.g. Lent, Advent) provide the congregation opportunities to examine aspects of faith and works.

Confirmation classes are conducted during Lent for young people in Grades 7 and above. Details are available as the class is formed.

Day Nursery School: Since 1960, we have offered a weekday Nursery School for all preschoolers of the church and the community. Excellent learning experiences, developing self-reliance skills in listening and speaking, independence, and self-image are emphasized in the program. Morning and afternoon classes are in place for both 3 & 4 year olds. Each class is staffed by a certified teacher and an experienced aides. Caleb's Playground, a gift of the community and the Synder family in memory of their son, is a popular place for our pre-schoolers.

United Methodist Men : meet at 7:15 A.M. Tuesday for breakfast, fellowship, and project planning.
United Methodist Women: (Wiawakas) meet on the third Wednesday evening of the month. Mission, education, fellowship, worship, and service are emphasized. A Craft and Sewing Circle and a women's group are held on scheduled weekdays.
