Scripture verse for the month....

"He counts the stars and calls them all by name.
He sends the snow like white wool.
He scatters frost upon the ground like ashes.
He hurls the hail like stones.
Who can stand against His freezing cold?
Then, at His command, it all melts.
He sends His winds and the ice thaws.
How great is our Lord, His power is absolute.
His understanding is beyond comprehension!"

Psalm 147:4,5,16-18

Bill, Dan, Danielle, Gina, Heather, Jessica, Karen, Marcy, Rachel, Sarah, & Shelly.....
We are the Sr High Sunday School class at S.C.U.M.C. We are an active group - love to go shopping at the mall (for Christmas gifts for needy families). We are currently repainting our Sunday School room, learning about what it means to make a "Radical Commitment", and we love to share meals (even breakfast)! Here is what this month's scripture verse means to some of us....

God has the power to do all things, and in the blink of an eye He
can take it all away.

God's power is so great it is beyond our understanding!

Jen, our former classmate (now off to college), noticed:
John 3:16 is often on banners and posters displayed at sporting events.
Do you know why?
E-mail us for our answer!
Or send us questions... we'll let you know what we think!
