Ever since September 11th, our country, and indeed,
the world has been
horrified and in a state of shock. We have always considered our nation to
be invulnerable and immune from attack, but we were proven wrong by a
handful of terrorists. It is very frightening to have our feelings of
security destroyed.
Yet we have faith that God is still with us, and that He still loves us.
Because this attack happened doesn't mean God caused it. It means that in
His love for us He created us with free will and allows us to exercise it.
The choices we make are our own. Hopefully the things we as Christians choose are
in accordance with God's will. We need to turn our fears over to God and,
no matter what comes our way, remember that He is always with us.
Please pray for our President, the cabinet, our elected representatives and
the world's leaders. They need, and have requested, our prayers and our
support.
