SUMC Mission Statement:

     It is the purpose of Scranton United Methodist Church to provide an opportunity to worship God, pursue meaningful knowledge of the Bible, effectively conduct informative Christian Education and develop competent Christians. Through this Christian development we as brothers and sisters of Christ will be able to go out and be involved in Christian mission and witness.

Scranton UMC currently supports the following local and worldwide missions:

· Bishop's round up for hunger.

· Topeka Rescue Mission.

· The Gideons.
