Church is only church as people grow in their understanding and knowledge of the Lord.  Primary in that understanding is our Christian Education program, beginning with Sunday School for all ages Sunday mornings at 9:15 am.  Plan to join us, as we delve into God's word, and its meaning for our lives.

   Bible study is an important part of our growth as disciples of Jesus Christ.  Our Wednesday evening Bible study, on "break" until January 7th, focuses on "Cults, Heresies, and Orthodoxy."  While this may sound confusing, it's an investigation into faith for beginners, too, seeking to understand what other religions believe, and what we truly believe as Christians.  For those who can attend during daytime hours, there is a Tuesday morning study.

    Adventure Club is an after-school program of Christian education, fellowship, and refreshments for 1st thru 6th grade, meeting Monday afternoons from 4 to 6 pm.

   Each summer, Sawyerwood U.M.C. hosts a Vacation Bible School, open to all area young people.  For VBS days and times, and any other information, check the bulletin, or contact the church at 330 784-3323.
