Directions to First United Methodist Church, San Leandro

By Car

From cities north of San Leandro, take interstate 580 East to the Grand Ave exit. At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, proceed straight onto Delores Ave. The Church is located on the left just before the next traffic signal.

From Hayward, Castro Valley or Pleasanton, take interstate 580 west to the Estudillo Ave. exit. At the stop sign at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Grand Ave. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Delores. The Church is located on the left just before the next traffic signal.

From the Airports, Alameda, Fremont, the penisula or the south bay take interstate 880 to the Davis Street (east) exit. Follow Davis street until it crosses East 14th street, where its name changes to Callan. Continue following it until it ends. Turn right onto Bancroft Ave. Turn left onto Delores at the third traffic signal.

Parking: The rather small parking lot is behind the church, with its entrance off of Delores. There is also plenty of street parking available.

Using Public Transit:

From the San Leandro BART station, you can walk one mile east on Parrott Street which will change names as it crosses east 14th to Delores, or on Thornton Street which changes to Maud Ave. You can also get a cab for the one mile ride.

If you want to take a bus, A.C. Transit provides the 40L from the Bay Fair BART Staion. On Sunday mornings the schedule is:
