Salem
strives to be light in our families and community. Here are just
a few of the outreach ministries that we are doing.
Community
Luncheon
Salem offers a Monthly Luncheon for anyone who
would like to come eat and have fellowship. The luncheon is on
the third Wednesday of the month in the afternoon from noon to
1:30PM. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come. The ladies
of the church volunteer in making Soup and Sandwiches with a special
dessert.
Noisy
Bucket Offering
Salem every Sunday takes up a collect of spare pocket change called
the Red Bucket Offering. This money collected every week is used
for a specific missionary project. Since the start of the bucket,
Salem has given out over $100,000.
New
Bethany Ministries
The first Thursday of the month, a group of our
church volunteers spent their time as an Outreach Ministry to
our surrounding communities. The group on the first Thursday of
the month will help out at New Bethany Ministry in Bethlehem,
PA. We will be serving lunch to help out with the New Bethany
soup kitchen. If interested in information or volunteering to
help, contact the church.
