Contemporary Worship - IGNITE
Every Sunday 11:15–12:00 noon
Our contemporary service, called IGNITE, lasts approximately 45 minutes. As you enter the church, greeters will hand you a printed bulletin. Learn more
All of the music will be contemporary. You are likely to hear many of the songs you hear on the Christian radio stations who play current Christian hits. From time to time, words of testimony are shared, which encourages participants in their faith.
During the service, our pastor will deliver a message with application to our daily lives. Salem's own praise band "Aflame" will lead the music. The service includes children's time and computerized multimedia to enhance the worship experience. Come as you are and be ready to encounter God!

CHILDREN are welcome to stay with their parents during the worship services. Children activity bags are available in the hallway just outside the sanctuary. The small tote bags contain Bible story books, small games, activity books, crayons, activity cards, etc. You are welcome to pick up a bag on your way into worship. Please return it to its place at the end of the service so it can be used again.
HOLY COMMUNION is usually observed on the first Sunday of each month during both the traditional worship service and the IGNITE contemporary service, and always on Easter Sunday.
VISITORS are encouraged to complete a visitor card, located in the pew racks. Write your name, address, names of your children, and phone number; also indicate if you are new in the community, would like a visit from the pastor, and how you heard about us, e.g., family, friend, pastor, etc. Then place the card in the offering plate. The following week, a letter will be mailed to you, thanking you for visiting our church. Your name will also be added to our newsletter mailing list.
