Children & Youth Choirs
Children's Choir - Ashley Rhea, Director
Youth Choir - Susan Koons, Director
The children and youth choirs practice every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for 15 to 20 minutes, following the 9:00 a.m. traditional worship service. The choirs occasionally provide special music for the Sunday worship services.

Adult Choir
Sandy Lewis, Director
The adult choir is seasonal, performing mostly during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter seasons. The choir usually practices on Tuesday evenings at the church.
Confirmation & New Members Classes
Pastor Bob Snyder, Teacher
Confirmation and new members classes are usually formed in January or February of each year. New members from these classes are usually received on or around Pentecost Sunday in the Spring. People who wish to transfer their membership to Salem from another church may do so at any time. Our pastors can arrange the transfer.
United Methodist Women "Bee-lievers"
Betty Brandenburg, President
Fonda Gormer, Secretary
Salem's United Methodist Women "Bee-lievers" group meets the first Thursday of each month in the church's social room. This group organizes a "Ladies Night Out" usually in May of each year, and works on projects which are sold at the annual Lord's Acre Festival, including the featured quilt which is sold at the festival's auction. We welcome any women of the congregation to join us as we plan activities to support the ministries of the church.

Women's Bible Group
Phyllis Beall, Leader
Women's Bible Group members read a selected book and meet every other week for about an hour to spend time hearing the Word, sharing our thoughts, and praying for one another. Chapters are assigned for reading prior to each meeting. An online group also follows the same schedule.

Walking/Running Group
Angie Humble, Leader
Salem's Walking/Running Group meets twice weekly with other break-off groups meeting at other times during the week. While each group member has his or her own goals, the group, as a whole, is striving for three outcomes: (1) Some are training to walk or run in a 13.1 mile marathon; (2) Some are getting in shape to cover the distance of a 10k or 6.2 miles; and (3) Others are interested in developing and maintaining a fitness regimen. Angie has a degree in Health Education and Exercise Physiology.

Monday Evening Bible Study
Pastor Bob Snyder, Leader
Salem's Monday Evening Bible Study meets every Monday at Salem. Topics are selected by the pastor. Each student receives a student book. Little or no preparation is required for each session.

Parents Bible Study
Michael Burrier, Leader
Salem's monthly Parent Bible Study meets on Sunday evening and is an outreach to parents who would like to study the Bible while their children participate in Salem's youth group activities which meet at the same time.
