Church School At St. James

Sunday School

Sunday school for ages 3 through adult is conducted between 9:45 and 10:45 AM.   Prior enrollment is not required and visitors are always welcome.  Sunday School is not conducted when the Summer schedule is in effect.

• Grades 1 & 2
• Grade 3
• Grade 4
• Grades 5 & 6
• Grade 7
• Grades 8 & 9
• Grades 10 - 12
• Adult

Children and youth classes follow formal, age appropriate, structured study curriculum.  There are two new and exciting Sunday School programs for children and youth this year. 

Adult Sunday school participants choose from various courses of study.  This Fall the adult class will investigate The Great Three-in-One : The Study of The Trinity.

Confirmation Class

A special Confirmation preparation is conducted each year for youth who will be Confirmed in their Christian Faith.  Pastor David Jolly leads this special series of sessions which may meet on weekends and evenings.  In them, our young men and women not only hone the fundamentals of their faith, but also enjoy great times of fun and fellowship. 

Vacation Bible School

Vacation bible school themes at St. James are always unique and different.  They can be counted on to be unusual and innovative.  Usually conducted in early August, the theme and specific dates for each year's VBS are announced several months in advance.
