



Rev Marc Lowrance, Pastor, is in his 18th year as a United Methodist pastor and serving his 7th year at St. Paul. He and his wife Debbie have three sons; Hunter, Luke and Pete. Pastor Marc is regarded as a dynamic preacher and administrative leader with a vision to help St. Paul continue to grow as a middle-sized neighborhood church. He has a grace-centered theology based heavily on an ethic of personal responsibility. Pastor Marc states: "There has never been a greater time for the United Methodist expression of the faith. Our society needs spiritual framework, and the ability to make good decisions. Sharing Jesus Christ from a Wesleyan perspective is the perfect way to meet these needs."

Rev Marilyn Schiffman, Associate Pastor, joined the staff in June of 2003 as Minister of Discipleship and Director of Music. Pastor Marilyn assists in all levels of ministry with emphasis on education and personal growth opportunities. She is a former church music director, so planning and coordinating creative worship is right up her alley!
Marilyn Schiffman has a background in counseling and non-profit management. She was involved in Methodist lay leadership for many years before formally accepting God's call to ordained ministry. Her family, husband John, and young adult sons, Adam and Austin, have been active members of the United Method Church for many years.
Marilyn started college on a full music scholarship and later changed her major to education (counseling and guidance) and graduated with a M.Ed.. She served as Music Director in two Methodist Churches from 1998 through June of 2003.
Marilyn graduated from Brite Divinity School with a Master of Divinity degree in May, 2004. She is a commissioned Elder with the United Methodist Church.

Kelly Drury is the Director of Educational Ministries

Secretary Betty Reisch was born in California and moved to the mid-cities in 1968 when American Airlines transferred their base here. Her father and mother worked for A.A. Betty attended Richland High School and Tarrant County College. She met her husband while he was attending UTA. He joined the Marine Corps so they traveled the country while he was training to be a pilot.
In 1983 he left the Marines and they purchased a Cabinet shop in Anaheim, California. This turned out to be a very successful business. In 1987 his dream job, being a commercial pilot, came through and they moved back to Texas.
Betty has been doing various clerical work for over 20 years. She considers this to be her best job she's ever had and plans to be here at St. Paul until she retires. She and her husband Bill have been married 28 years. They have a son who is married and lives here in Bedford and a daughter who lives in Colorado. She enjoys reading, crafts, and movies during her spare time.
