Leadership Training Day is an annual event sponsored by the District Council on Ministries. The event is for anyone interested in the ministry and mission of the local church. Church officers, laity and clergy are all welcome and encouraged to attend. The cost of the day is $10, which includes a luncheon served the Tawas United Methodist Women.
The theme of this year's program is Opportunities for Discipleship. The keynote speaker will be the Rev. Michael Norton, who will speak on Equipping Laity for Ministry.
