The UNITED METHODIST WOMEN District Annual Celebration was held at Aldersgate UMC, Midland, on October 4. Keynote Speaker was Jackie Euper, Resource & Training Specialist, Detroit Annual Conference Board of Christian Education.
The UNITED METHODIST MEN had their 2nd Annual Men's Retreat at Camp Nissokone, Oscoda on September 12-13. Keynote Speaker, Rev. Jack Harnish, First UMC, Birmingham, spoke on "Lessons From A Sheep Dog". Their Spring Rally -- "Men At Work" was held at West Branch UMC on May 31.
A Girls' Chrysalis was held July 17-20 and a Boy's Chrysalis was held July 31-Aug 3, both at Midland 1st UMC.
A Children's Worship Festival (SONG, DANCE, CHIMES & DRAMA) was held at MICHELSON MEMORIAL UMC, Grayling on April 12.
In early March, Conscious Leadership seminars for leaders in the church were held. They were facilitated by L. Cecile Adams of the Creative Coaching Center.
