...are Generalists. They have Biblical theological, and day-to-day understandings of ministry with which to address rural church and community needs and concerns 


...are skilled in Counseling to deal with farm families who are evaluating their operations or going through the crisis of loss and change

..have skills in Earth Ethics. They are knowledgeable in how ethics relates to the reconciliation of our use of natural resources and the Biblical teachings on stewardship.
...are Advocates for righteousness in rural communities. They work with others to develop just and sustainable relationships and structures for town and rural communities.

...have Community Economic Development skills. They are able to identify rural economic trends and to work with rural communities in developing resources to support the local community life.

...are linking congregations and communities in the U.S.A. in partnerships with rural communities in Russia, Tadjikistan and other places around the world for sharing, support and increased understanding.
