Adult Classes
Biblical - Lectionary
This class studies of the scriptures featured in weekly worship,
using the book: Studying the Revised Common Lectionary, Year C, Keeping
Holy Time, Edited by Douglas W. Wingeier. This study is designed to
open the scriptures in very real and relevant ways. Pastor Witt having
visited and acted as host for different peoples pilgrimages to the Holy
Land and Egypt, uses maps, pictures, scriptures, personal experience,
and the like, to open the scriptures, the Written Word of God, to
classmates. Though other views are discussed, he approaches the
scriptures from a decidedly Traditional United Methodist point of view.

to the children's increasing maturity through lessons that provide
opportunities for discussion and ideas for activities.
Exploring Faith is divided into five age levels: Preschool (ages
3-5); Early Elementary (kindergarten through first grade); Middle Elementary (second and third grade); Older Elementary (fourth and fifth grade); Preteen
(sixth grade).
