Both Jr. High and Sr. High UMYF groups have started off well this year. The youth are showing strong interest in being disciples and finding ways to reach out into their community.

Why Teens Go to Church

Research shows that 7of 10 teens attend church because they want to. Eight of 10 Protestant teen attend church of their own volition compared to 54 percent of Roman Catholic teens. And girls (72%) are more likely to attend church willingly than boys (63%).

A recent study by CAMPUS LIFE reveals in greater detail why teens attend church. The main reason teens attend church, the survey shows, is that it helps them feel closer to God.
