DRIVING DIRECTIONS

TO RODES UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

From Charlottesville:   Take US 250 West or I-64 West to Exit 107. Follow Us 250 West approximately 5 miles then turn left on VA 151.  Follow VA 151 South about 3.4 miles, turn left on 840 (Tanbark Road).  Follow Tanbark to stop sign (Avon Road), turn right and Rodes church will be on your left in about one-half mile

From Staunton or Waynesboro:  Take US 250 East or I-64 East to Exit 99. Turn right on US 250 or continue to follow US 250 down Afton mountain, approximately 4 miles to VA 151. Turn right (South) on VA 151 and follow it about 3.4 miles, then turn left on Route 840 (Tanbark Road).  Follow Tanbark Road to stop sign (Avon Road), turn right and Rodes Church will be on your left in about one-half mile

From Lynchburg or Lovingston: Take US 29 South to Woods Mill. Turn left onto VA 6 and follow it approximately 6 miles to VA 151/VA 6. Turn right onto VA 151/VA 6 and follow it approximately 6 miles. Just past Small's Grocery (Exxon Station), and just over the Wiilams Creek bridge, turn right onto Avon Road. Rodes UMC will be on top of the hill on the right.

From Wintergreen Resort: From Wintergreen Resort gatehouse, turn left onto Route 664 (Beech Grove Road) and travel down the mountain 5 miles to VA 151 (Patrick Henry Highway/Rockfish Valley Highway). Turn left onto VA 151 (Patrick Henry Highway/Rockfish Valley Highway) and follow it for 11 miles to Avon Road. Turn right onto Avon Road, and travel 0.2 miles. Rodes Church will be on the top of the hill on the right.
