The Rockville United Methodist Church is a warm and inviting community of faith ever reaching out to call people to sense and embrace God’s presence in their lives. On behalf of the members and friends of the church, I thank you for finding our website and hope that a tour will provide you with a better understanding of who we are and what we believe.

As you move through these pages, I hope you will first, find the information you are seeking and second, use what you do discover to help you establish a closer relationship to Jesus Christ. The people of the Rockville United Methodist Church are energetic and enthusiastic as they reach out to others. Our music ministry is growing with the start up this year of two new choirs, a children’s bell choir and a beginner bell choir for adults and youth (14 or older). We encourage all ages to participate in the missions and ministries offered by the church. Our Church School has expanded and we have two capable nursery care supervisors who oversee our littlest ones during the worship services. In addition, children participate in the service with a special time set aside at every service to speak directly to their growing faith. They are then invited to attend a “Children’s Church” time facilitated by another of our capable members.

The Rockville United Methodist Church is growing and we’d like to invite you to join us. From September – mid-June, we gather every Sunday morning at 9:30 for Church School for all ages including at least one adult study. Worship begins at 10:45 during the year and 9:30 a.m. during the summer. If you are looking for a church family, come and check us out. I look forward to meeting you.
