The Congregation of the United Methodist Church of the Rockaways, committed to Jesus Christ, our resurrected and living Lord, seeks deeper faith, wisdom and insight from God’s word set forth in the Holy Scriptures under the guidance of the Holy Spirit; and as His emissary, proclaims Good News to our neighbors. Following in Christ’s example, we shall open our doors and arms, inviting and welcoming all, encouraging those who wish to grow in faith, provide a nurturing atmosphere conducive to spiritual fellowship, and minister to those in need in our community through our actions of love and care.
