What is Crossing the Line?

Crossing the Line Youth Ministries is about making changes in your life - crossing the line of the cross to create and strengthen your relationship with God; crossing the line to others for ministering to their needs and helping them find their faith; crossing the line in out own lives to truly live God's Word.  Our Youth Ministry program is built on 5 cornerstones - we are "GRIPD" with God's Purpose!

• Grow - building and strengthening our relationship with God, so we can be more like Christ.
• Reach - sharing about Jesus Christ, both with those who know him and those who don't.
• Invite - bringing others to join in our friendship, closeness, worship, and fun.
• Praise - celebrating and honoring God's presence in our lives.
• Discover - finding our personal gifts from God, which allows us to care for and nurture others in our own way.

How do I Cross the Line?

Crossing the Line Youth Ministries has a variety of ways to be involved.  Each Sunday, our youth groups meet for fellowship, fun, and learning.  All friends and neighbors are always invited.

• The Junior High Group: 7th, 8th, and 9th grade meet from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in our youth center, lovingly called THE PIT.
• Our Senior High Group: 10th, 11th, and 12th grade youth meet from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in THE PIT.
• Because our relationships are so close and so strong, both groups share a meal together from 6:30 - 7:00 pm.

Many of us are new Christians, trying to grow in our faith.  Weekly bible study is held to not only learn about the Bible, but also to learn how these lessons apply to our daily life.

We have the chance to share our learning and growth through many activities.  We praise God through youth services in our church and through celebrating his presence in the lives of those we minister.  We reach out to others by inviting them to Bible study and weekly meetings and through participating in mission trips and other outreach ministries to help others in need.

All of the activities we share allow us to discover who we are and who God wants us to be - to be "GRIPD" with God's purpose.
