CLASSICS MEET IN SEPTEMBER
The Classics (those 50 plus years
young) will be celebrating their second annual "Surviving Summer" potluck
dinner on Saturday, September 13, in Madsen Hall beginning at 5:30 pm. You
are invited to come and celebrate the end of the hot summer and reconnect
with all those vacationing folks who may be returning from faraway places.
Following dinner, a lively game of Bingo will be played. Please bring a
“white elephant” item in a plain paper bag to be used as prizes. If you
don’t know what a white elephant is, ask Sue Killebrew or Bobbi Heppe,
hostesses for the event. Look for them at a sign-up table following worship
services in September.
