GriefShare – GriefShare is a
friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of
life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving
process alone. This is a safe place
for persons who are grieving to come and talk to others who have also lost
loved ones. GriefShare will be held on
Monday evenings from August 3rd to October 26th, from 7
pm to 8:30 pm. For more information,

Adult
Bible Studies – The Morning Bible Study meets on Tuesday mornings at 10:30
AM. Our Evening Bible Study will
continue with the Book of Revelation and meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30
PM. We are using Cokesbury’s “Journey
Through the Bible” as a study guide. All
adults are welcome to attend. |

Prayer
Ministries – Join us for our Prayer Hour, 11 AM every Thursday at the
church. Our Prayer Chain is open to
anyone with a joy or a concern – contact Marilyn Bruening at 991-3818. Many of our church members and their loved

United Methodist Women
– A community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom
as whole persons through Jesus Christ.

Men’s Fellowship – To assist men to know
Jesus Christ, to serve Him, to grow spiritually, and seek daily to do His
will. The Men’s Fellowship Breakfast
meets at the Oak Tree Diner in Rio Linda on third Saturday of each month at 8
AM.

Youth Ministry – Our Youth Group
meets every Monday evening at 7 PM.
This ministry reaches out to 7th through 12th grade youth. Activities include Bible study, youth camp,
lock-ins, road trips, and lots more.

Community
Food Closet – Our church hosts this vital service of the Rio Linda Elverta
Ministerial Association. Every month
the Food Closet serves over 100 individuals and dozens of families. Please contact the church office at
991-1638 if you wish to volunteer your time, or contribute food or a cash
donation. The Food Closet is open
every Thursday from 10 AM to Noon. |

Music
Ministries – Our Chancel Choir blesses our worship service with a blend of
classic hymns and contemporary praises.
Our choir members also perform solos in song and music. Contact the church office at 991-1638 to

Book
Club – Our Book Club meets on fourth Saturday of the month at 10 AM. The book for this month is “Secrets”,
by Kristen Heitzman. Join us for a

God’s
Own Puppeteers – Our puppet ministry team presents God’s truth through puppet
skits and musicals to boys and girls of all ages. Our puppet ministry performs the Children’s
Message during Worship on the 4th Sunday of each month. Meeting and rehearsal is held on Wednesday

Sunday
School – Our Children’s Sunday School ministers to children and youth from
1st grade to High School. Our Adult Sunday School class
ventures through books of the Bible, from the Old to the New Testament. Adult and Children’s Sunday School classes
are held at 9:30 AM, and the nursery is open for young children and
infants. We also provide Children’s
Church during our worship service, for 1st through 6th grade. |

Walk To Emmaus – We host an Emmaus Reunion Group on Tuesdays
at 12:30 PM. The Emmaus/Chrysalis
ministry offers spiritual renewal for adults and young people. For the dates and locations of upcoming

Prison Ministry is to bring Christ's love and forgiveness to all
incarcerated individuals, their families and those who work with them, and to
