Andy Stoddard was appointed as pastor of Ripley First UMC on July 1, 2007. He is married to the former Holly Calcote of Brookhaven, MS. She is a Registered Dietician and works at several facilities in North East Mississippi. They have two children, daughter Sarah and son Thomas.

Andy grew up in the small town of Bogue Chitto, MS. He was baptized, confirmed, and converted in Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School, Copiah Lincoln Community College, Mississippi College where he majored in Chemistry, and Memphis Theological Seminary.

His interests include jogging, reading, watching Ole Miss Sports, tinkering with computers, and spending time with his family.

His favorite authors include CS Lewis, Phillip Yancey, Lewis Grizzard, and being a United Methodist pastor, John Wesley
