To youth ministry at the Reinbeck United Methodist Church.

After being on an extended vacation youth ministry is coming back to the Reinbeck United Methodist church.  We’ll start slowly, but once it gets going. . .  hold on to your shorts.

Eventually I hope to have groups for all Middle School and High School youth.  In order to get started we are going to focus on the 7th and 8th graders.

The confirmation program will be turned into a full youth ministry including
growth/study
fellowship/ fun
service/ mission and
honoring/ worshipping activities.


7th and 8th grades will invite older and younger youth to some events
Older youth will probably be the next group to form
Younger youth (5th and 6th) will eventually follow
It could all take 1-2 years to complete this process

I’ll bring my 3 ½ years of youth experience
Parents and adults need to bring a willingness to help on a regular or occasional basis. Youth ministry doesn’t happen without adult volunteers
Youth need to bring a sense of adventure, curiosity, willingness to help lead, and a desire to get closer to God.
