The Academy of Servant Leadership, Serving and Leading People toward GOD’S Will and Purpose using the Beatitudes.
Two, 2 1/2 day events, Friday to Sunday, Feb. 29-March 2, and Sunday to Tuesday, March 2-4, VUMAC.
Servant Leadership is…
Seeking: We seek to glorify God and bring about a deeper and richer sense of HIS purposes and the kingdom of GOD now.
Enabling: The Holy Spirit facilitates our use of our GOD given gifts, grace and call-being and doing totally for GOD and HIS children.
Motivating: We move people from where they are to God's will intentionally with determination and renewed commitment to an improved leadership style.
Useful: You will experience new thinking and living in the four dimension of life - your spirit, your relationships, your mind and your body.
Who is the Servant Leader? One who patterns his or her life after Jesus’ own teachings during His life on earth. A Servant Leader recognizes and fulfills the desire to serve first for it is through an attitude of service that we become effective leaders.
Servant Leadership is learning and living The Beatitudes...the Gospel in Miniature.
The Academy recognizes that to lead effectively, you must be willing to follow; to fully live, you mist die to self; and to be free, you must be a servant and friend of God.

UNITED METHODIST MEN’S SPRING BANQUET
April 18th, hosted by Fairfields UMM in Burgess. Registration 6:00 pm. There will be a presentation about "FRIENDS OF SCOUTING".
