The leadership of the East Angola Conference of the United Methodist Church has been working diligently to restore its property at Quéssua Mission as a center of learning for youth and adult leadership training.  Former students, missionaries and United Methodist Churches in other countries have been instrumental in raising the financial resources necessary for the rehabilitation of key buildings at Quéssua. 

The Quéssua United Methodist Church, the spiritual core of Quéssua, was the first building to be repaired in 2005.  The Colégio do Quéssua reconstruction was finished prior to the initiation of classes in  February 2007.  The Colégio doubles now as a secondary school and theological school until the School of Theology, now under construction, is repaired.

Future plans are to build and/or repair dormitories for students, especially for orphans being cared for by the United Methodist Church in the provincial capital of Malanje, a short distance from Quéssua.
