The Quéssua School of Theology trains United Methodists pastors for the East Angola Conference.  Pastors receive well-rounded instruction in the Wesleyan tradition preparing an educated clergy.

The Colégio do Quéssua provides an opportunity for secondary education to young men and women living in the villages surrounding Quéssua Mission.

The Agricultural Ministry exists to provide food for children living in the orphanage at Quessua.  Bishop Quipungo also envisions the Agriculture Ministry equipping School of Theology and Colégio students with practical knowledge that will enable them to provide food for themselves during and after the completion of their education.

Quéssua Mission, East Angola Conference

War and disease have created approximately 1.2 million orphans in Angola.  The East Angola Conference of the United Methodist Church responded by caring for orphans initially in the provincial capitol of Malanje. Repair of a dormitory at Quéssua created space for 100 orphans to live and attend school at Quéssua .
