As your "Community" Church we would like to let you know who we are.

* We are a FAMILY CHURCH with a warm heart. This Family Spirit enables us to be there

for each other in times of need.

* We are a church that encourages a strong pulpit. People come expecting to hear the

GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST powerfully proclaimed

* We are a church that encourages a strong, personal relationship with our LORD and

SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.

* We are a church that encourages the laity to become actively involved. We are always

seeking members for our Bell and Chancel choirs, Liturgist,Sunday School teachers,

helpers, and ideas that help us to GLORIFY GOD.

We also have other programs and fellowship events that will enrich your life and draw you to

our LORD.

1. Boy Scouts and Cub-Scouts.

We have sponsored Troop 250 for over 40 years. During this time over 70 young men

have become Eagle Scouts.

* Harpist Nicole McAllistar and Violinist Todd Wentworth in concert

* "Community" hymn sing

* Organ Recital by our own, Diane Matta (Director of Music here at Penn's Woods

United Methodist Church

* Our Peach Festival held each August

* Turkey Dinners and Chicken Biscuit lunches ( open to the community)

* Christian Education Classes for adults

* Sunday School for children

* Active United Methodist Women

* Active United Methodist Men

* Operation Blessing - provides food certificates for those who are within our

community (Thanks to Penn's Woods Civic Association and Lions Club)

* Special Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday services

* Confirmation Classes

* Covered dish dinners and lunches for the congregation
