Our Sunday Service
At Pleasant Street United Methodist Church, our children learn about God’s love as they hear the stories of the Bible every Sunday.
Children join in the 9:00 a.m. worship service every Sunday for the first 20 minutes. After Children’s time, children Preschool age through 7th grade are welcome to attend a Sunday School class as listed below:
- Preschool Class – Class held in the Nursery Room (see Chjild Care, below.
- Grades 1 through 4 – Classroom located upstairs in education wing – 1st room on right.
- Grades 5 through 7 – Classroom located upstairs in education wing – 1st room on left.
We look forward to working with your children through the curriculum of “Exploring Faith.” We plan many throughout the year to keep Sunday School fun and educational.

Child Care
Nursery care is provided on the first floor next to the church office. There is also a crawling/wiggling/toddling space available for young children and their parents in the balcony of the sanctuary.
Refreshments are provided in Call Memorial Hall following the service.
Led by Pastor Kathleen, Sunday service begins at 9:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary. A traditional Methodist service is performed. Each service includes visual presentation of music and prayers An open Communion service is conducted on the first Sunday of each month. Special services are held during Lent and Advent periods.
