A community of women joined in mission, our purpose is to know God, to experience
freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship and to expand the concepts of mission through participation
in the global ministries of the church.

Pea Ridge United Methodist Women, 50 members strong, a member of the United
Methodist Western District UMW was designated by that body a
2001 Bronze Unit. Pea Ridge UMW is also recognized for
Nine Points of Giving and is a Five Star Unit for Undesignated Giving.
To fulfill our purpose, members focus on various mission projects.
Among them:


The Sunshine Circle meets on the third Tuesday of the month, at 1:00 p.m., Room 29 of the church.
Martha Circle enjoys the hospitality of members' homes at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month. E-mail us or phone the church for the location of the next meeting.
Grace Circle, a dynamic group of women with diverse schedules, meets at the church, Sundays at 5:30 p.m., upon notice in the church bulletin.

The Pea Ridge United Methodist Women will once again host a bazaar
in early November. Lunch, bake sale and crafts
will be featured. This is UMW's primary effort to raise funds to meet our mission obligations.
The 2002 Bazaar will be co-chaired by Christy King and Lori Sutphin. Sharon McAllister will
head the kitchen and be in charge of Food Sales. Linda Williams will manage the Bake Sale.
