This ministry serves parents with a safe, nurturing, clean, organized environment for children while their parents are away.  Sounds of joyful and excited children fill the air as they play, sing, learn, and praise.

Parent Involvement

  • Pay reasonable registration and childcare fees  (FIA/DHS Payments Accepted)

  • Sign my child in and out each day

  • Provide for my child's diapering needs

  • Provide prepared bottles, food, and cereal for my infant's needs, if I choose NOT to participate in the Childcare Food Program

  • We offer occasional opportunities for you or community members to visit and share about your profession or read to the children.

Who is the Director?
Jennifer Reisbig-Peters, Director

  • Person responsible for a well-planned program with focus on the developmental growth of each child and promoting Christian principles
  • Person who cares about young children and their parents
  • Qualified professional with appropriate educational background employed by the church.
  • Assisted in the daycare by staff employed by the Sunny Bunch Christian Childcare Center Board.
  • Completed 12 hours of continuing education in a child-related field each year.

Our Staff
Infant Care

  • Trained in First Aid, CPR, and Blood-borne Pathogens.
  • Screened through the Michigan State Police Department.
  • Completed 12 hours of continuing education in a child-related field each year.

Sunny Bunch Christian Daycare provides opportunities for the developmental growth of each child in the following areas:
  • Physical development, including large and small muscle
  • Social development, including communication skills
  • Emotional development, including positive self-concept
