ANNUAL BAZAAR, COUNTRY STORE Saturday, November Yes, our Anuual Bazaar is finally here! But its not too
late to make something as all kinds of homemade items or baked/canned goods will be
appreciated! Please drop off items for the Bazaar with suggested prices in me Youth Room
after 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 1 through Friday, November 6th before 6:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to price items at 3.00 p m. on November 6th and to setup after 6:00.
Baked goods may also be dropped off Saturday morning after Don't forget to bring your kids and grandkids and drop them off
in the Kids Build-A-Craft Comer so they can have fan making something special for the
holidays while you shop for beautiful items and tasty goodies! Stop by the Fellowship Hall
Sunday morning for our final sales.

World Thank Offering Please bring your World Thank Offering to our November UMW meeting. If you are unable to attend, please give your thank offering to Debbie Bahr any time this month. This special offering will be forwarded to the District UMW to support missions in all 50 states and in almost 100 countries. The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. : Sounds impressive? It is. Sounds worthwhile? It is. Sound like fun? --- Well, no not really, but you put a bunch of friendly women together along with good food and it becomes fun? Come and join the fun of great fellowship and the purpose of
Christ's All women of the church are invited and wholly welcomed. From the 4Cs: The 4Cs are in the process of
planning the Holiday Gift Baskets, They provide a complete Christmas dinner to their
clients and anticipate providing a holiday meal for about 275 families. We are responsible
for chicken or turkey gravy packets for the Christmas baskets. The gravy packets may be
placed in the Christmas Box in the Narthex. Deadline is November 29th.
Advent Celebration and Cookie Walk It is coming again, as it always does, on Saturday, December
5th. (Sometimes I can't believe how fast a year goes by!) It is a busy time but also a time of joy in anticipating and
preparing for Christmas. The Cookie Walk is an annual fundraiser for the UMW. Many
cookies are needed to make it a success, and Portage Faith has many wonderful bakers! Please prepare to set aside a time to bake some cookies. I know
- its one more number on a long list of things to do. Your time and cost in making cookies is truly a gift to the
church. I am asking you to warm up those ovens and let the gift you are giving warm your
hearts as we prepare to receive the Greatest Gift. Come and share the celebration with the program, starting at Please bring your cookies to the church by Thank you for your time and your gift. A very special program is coming to Portage Faith on December 5.

will be presented by Ed Henry and Debbie Weinkamer, both of Do you remember that our famous Cookie Walk follows the program?
