Vacation Policy
A person appointed to his or her first full-time pastoral appointment shall be guaranteed at least two week vacation during his/her first full year. Persons beyond the first year in full-time pastoral appointment, including those who are transfer into the Conference, shall be guaranteed at least four weeks (non-accumulative) vacation each year. Time shall be negotiated with the Committee on Pastor-Parish/Staff Relations. Such negotiations should also include arrangements for pulpit supply, pastoral coverage of emergencies within the parish, any other arrangements necessary to the smooth functioning of the parish in the pastor's absence.
