Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." It is therefore our mission
to be living, active witnesses radiating Christian love as we seek to bring about the Kingdom of God in our
community.
The people of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church have come together as a family from varied religious
background, cultures and education. By our participation through prayers, presence, gifts and service, we
endeavor to bring ourselves and others to an encounter with the living God. As we worship as one body in
Christ, enriched and strengthened by the power of God's Holy Spirit, we desire to live a new life that stems
from new birth.
We commit ad dedicate ourselves to be caring, loving and serving people -- to teach, learn, understand, and
thus grow together in spiritual maturity. May we strive to be a "beacon on the hill" for those who shall come
after us, and to share our lives, our faith, and the gospel of the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
