We invite you to join us for worship each Sunday.

  • 8:50 a.m. - 9:02 at the Grove – a more contemporary service
  • 11:00 a.m. – Morning Worship – a more traditional service
  • A Nursery is provided for both services
  • We have Sunday School Classes for all ages. Classes begin at 9:45 a.m.
  • Youth – mid highs and high school – meet on Sunday evening from 5:45 p.m. – 7: 30 p.m.
  • We have a full music program.

We love and care for children! Through our Child Development Center, 3 Day-a-Week Preschool program and our After School/Summer Camp we reach out to the community around us.

We are a mission-minded church! We have sent people on mission teams to Mexico and the Caribbean and in 2003 we plan to go to Kenya. We participate in Room in the Inn and support various local mission groups and organizations, including Crisis Assistance, the CROP WALK, Society for St. Andrews, and a health ministry sponsored by this congregation.

The prophet scholars call, Second Isaiah, comforted the people in exile in Babylon with these words:

But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. Isaiah 43: 1-2

  • At Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church we believe that God is everlasting and is involved in our everyday lives.
  • We affirm that God is present in all of life, even the toughest times.
  • We trust Jesus with our lives.
  • We would love to have you journey with us as we worship God and serve Jesus in this community and around the world.
