from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m, for children ages 3 to 11. This will be a weekly club especially for kids. There will be songs, stories from the Bible, lessons for living, activities, and refreshments. Kid's Club will emphasize fellowship, fun, friendship, good sportsmanship, sharing, caring, loving, prayer, and becoming a follower of Jesus. The club is open to all children in the church and community.
This annual program includes a recounting of the Easter story, the making of a flower cross which will be displayed during Easter Sunday service, and an Easter Egg hunt. Children of all ages are welcome. Please bring a basket for the hunt. The date and time for the program is announced in the church bulletin and newsletter.
Each summer, Pleasant Grove offers a Vacation Bible School program. The theme varies from year to year, but is always Bible-based. There were games, crafts, music, and learning. Each October, Pleasant Grove hosts a Costume Party for the children. Children of all ages are welcome to attend. There are games, snacks, and goodie bags for the children. The date and time for the program is announced in the church bulletin and newsletter.
Each year the children dress up and tell a timely Christmas story. The exact nature of the story varies from year to year, but focuses on the Nativity and that Christ is the reason for our celebration of Christmas. The program is held during Sunday morning service. Children of all ages are welcome to participate.
