Our History
Established in 1813

Our church was one of the first churches in the community, being established in 1813.
The first sanctuary was housed in a log structure for the small but faithful congregation. In 1871 the old building was torn down to make way for a new frame structure. Then in 1924 the corner stone was laid for the new brick church shown above. Pisgah United Methodist Church has had many generations of faithful and outstanding people in the congregation. It has survived for almost 188 years with God's gracious blessing. The challenge for present and future generations is to continue to keep God's word alive in the church. This church has been blessed with a family of generous, loving, and caring brothers and sisters. For this we give thanks to our gracious heavenly Father.
