.November 12 (Thursday) – “Union Station” – at 12:00 noon. Bring a Pot Luck dish to share, and hear Edie Bryan give her power point presentation on the controversial redevelopment of Union Station. Sign up by November 8.

November 19 (Thursday) – “Sea Monsters” – an IMAX presentation at the Denver Museum of Natural History. $9.00 includes admission to the film adn the museum. Bring money for lunch at the cafeteria. 10:30 – 2:00. $2.00 to RTD. Sign up by October 25.

November 29 (Sunday) – “Nutcracker” – presented by the Belliston Academy of Ballet at the Newman Center. At 1:00 p.m. Performed by students, aging from 8 – 18. $18.00 plus $2.00 to RTD. Sign up by November 15.

December 5 (Saturday) – Denver MountainAires present “Holiday Harmony” at 2:00 p.m., including a sing-along and refreshments at the Wheat Ridge High School Auditorium. $5.00 plus $2.00 to RTD. Sign up by November 15.

December 6 (Sunday) – Golden Eagle Brass Band presents “Christmas Program” at the Lakewood Cultural Arts Center. $8.00 for Sr. Citizens. Meet at the Center at 1:40 p.m. Sign up by November 22.

December 12 (Saturday) – Sound of the Rockies (an A Cappella Men’s Chorus) presents “Making Spirits Bright” at 2:00 p.m at the Gates Concert Hall (Newman Center). $17.00 plus $2.00 to RTD. Sign up by November 15.

December 13 (Sunday) – Colo Symphony Orchestra, Colo Chorale, and Children’s Chorale present “A Colorado Christmas” at 2:30 p.m. at Boettcher Concert Hall. Ticket prices will be posted as soon as possible. $2.00 to RTD. Sign up by November 29.

December 17 (Thursday) – “A Christmas Carol” - the timeless tale of EbenezerScrooge and his ghosts of past, present, and future. Original songs, enchanting sets, and opulent costumes. At the Stage Theatere at 11:00 a.m. $17.00 plus $2.00 to RTD. Sign up by November 29.

January 28 (Thursday) – “Wisdom Gone Wild” Kitchen Band. Come at noon with a pot luck dish to share, and then at 1:00, enjoy the “non-philharmonic band” with Banjos, Ukes and kitchen equipment used as instruments play some old favorites! Sign up by January 24

Please note: Each activity has a deadline date (ie. “Sign up by ______”). At that time, the tickets for the event are purchased. You are then responsible for the cost of your ticket whether you can go or not. You are welcome to sell your ticket to someone else, but the Older Adult Ministries cannot be responsible for the cost of your ticket.
