Sharing God's Presence
Using your talent, enthusiasm and energy to share God's presence with others is very rewarding. Park Forest Village United Methodist Church offers these opportunities to share God's presence with others.
- Helping with the Park Forest Day Nursery, an enrichment program 814-231-8492 (held in our church).
- Contributing to the Good Samaritan Fund, which helps people in temporary need of financial assistance. August 14, 2008ties that benefit local, national, and international human service projects, i.e. the Dental Fund for low-income children in Centre County.
- Providing encouragement and support to St. Andrews United Methodist Church, our sister church in Zimbabwe.
- "Adopting" a Rwandan Orphan.
- Aiding clothing and food drives and other service projects such as Crop Walk, Habitat for Humanity, and the State College Food Bank.
- Volunteering at the State College Interfaith Mission. 814-234-7731.
- Participating in summer work camps.
