Christian Education

The founder of Methodism, John Wesley, believe in education. He believed the more we study, the more we can understand not only our own faith lives but that we can understand God and Christ Jesus.

Even today, the people of the United Methodist Church affirm that education is vital, no only in church but also in our daily lives as well.  We here at the First United Methodist Church of Pierce also believe in education. So, we offer various Bible Studies and other educational opportunities through out the year.

The most recent addition to our learning opportunities will be coming up sometime in the Fall. This particular class is based upon the book “Three Simple Rules,  by Rueben P. Job. In this book we learn more about “Doing no Harm &  Do all the Good you can.”  It will be a fun and eye opening study into the way in which we, who call ourselves Methodist, should live out our lives.
